POSITION TITLE: RELATIONSHIP COORDINATOR LEINSTER REGION

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Way 2 Work Ireland is a not-for-profit organisation which was created
to support the provision of training and employment opportunities for
young people between the ages of * to **Apply

Ireland is a registered charity, working in partnership with Tusla
Child & Family Agency.

The Relationship Coordinator position will be based in the Leinster
Area working with Tusla Aftercare, Social work, and Residential
departments, not-for-profit and private companies. The role is to
establish and build on relationships with young people and employers,
give guidance and support in consultation with eligible young people
who are in transition from care or young adults who are presently
involved with the Aftercare Service.

Way 2 Work Ireland requires an individual who can offer
non-judgmental, patient, and compassionate approach towards all young
people whom we support and assist in their continued growth and
development.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

* Liaise with Tusla child and family agency, Voluntary and private
agencies on the young person’s behalf.
* Engages and continue to build on Way 2 Work Ireland’s private
partners and stakeholders within the community and surrounding areas.
* Develop a local network of employers who are interested in
supporting the Way 2 Work Ireland’s initiative within the community
in all areas of training and trade crafts.
* Keep accurate records, client notes and outcomes on our CRM
system.
* Responsible for providing ongoing professional support, advice and
guidance towards training and employment plan.
* Responsible for key working and care planning each individual
young person working towards their own personal employment and
training preferences.
* Responsible to adhere to all Way 2 Work Ireland’s policies and
procedure guidelines with the company.
* Participate and work with all young people to create and support
training and employment plans of young person’s choosing.
* Promote and create an awareness of the Way 2 Work Ireland
initiative in the communities.
* Develop a clear understanding of all resources within the
communities which can support the needs of young people.
* Be willing to travel for Team Meetings and meetings with Employers
to establish and sustain good relations.
* Promote the rights and wellbeing of young people that we engage
with from within the service and community.
* Uphold the rights and dignity of all young people we support.
* Follow strict report writing policy guidelines as per legislation.
* Adhere to all national and European legislation policies for young
people/ adults.
* Other related duties as needed*

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

* Applicants must have a relevant qualification which must be a
minimum of QQI level 7 in Applied Social Care, Youth and Community or
Youth, Education or Training equivalent.
* Excellent communication skills, including the ability to maintain
records and produce clear written and oral reports.
* Flexibility and the ability to self-manage workload and time
management.
* A passion for supporting young people’s development
opportunities and journeys towards employment.
* Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Suite, Outlook, MS
Teams and Zoom.
* A full clean driver’s licence and own transport is required.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

* Knowledge and experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
* Experience working across different sectors and developing links
with different organisations.
* Experience working with young people from different backgrounds.

completion of Garda vetting and clearance, as well as a reference
check.
